Despite UPS jacking the shipment, (weighs 104lbs) seller was very supportive in helping me assess if the battery was still acceptable to be installed. The damage was superficial and I was able to do the replacement with seller’s support. Analysis after replacement to asses battery performance also was supported and battery operated like new. Dr.Prius App highly recommended, even if you are doing just one install.

Battery came a little beat up most likely from shipping but nothing major. Arrived on time and was easy to install. Battery works way better and no more codes on my car. Has been 1 week since instal and went on a 200 mile journey first weekend no issues. I got the 3 year warranty battery so hoping it last all three years. Would 100% buy again.

I recently purchased a replacement hybrid battery for my Toyota Prius from Hybrid Battery Service through Ebay. I was very impressed with HBS. First, the shipment of the battery was fast. I received the battery a day early. In addition, it was shipped in a custom made container for the specific battery. The container was also used for returning my trade-in battery. Shipping and return shipping were included in the price. Speaking of price, I could not find anything comparable at the price and warranty at any of the HB sellers where I live in CA. The battery I purchased has an eighteen month warranty at a price that was less than a battery that only came with a battery with a 6 month warranty at other sellers. The battery itself arrived fully charged and ready to install. It worked perfectly for my Prius. Throughout the transaction, communication by HBS was outstanding. At one point I had a question regarding the shipment of my trade-in battery back to them and they responded with an answer quickly. Terrible at communicating. Email says to call. When I call, they say to email. Several times I was on a call and they said they would call back when they knew more and they did not call back once; I always had to follow up.
Told me I had to prepay for the battery and it turned out the battery was fine and they did not refund the full purchase. Kept the credit card fee. Which is like, whatever, but I wish you hadn't had me prepay if you knew you wouldn't be able to give a full refund.
My car is dead and I wanted to know if they wanted the battery since they verified it was good and I cannot get in contact with them.

Using the Dr Prius app and driving approximately 50 miles to check the battery the internal resistance is 19-20 milli- ohms consistently and the voltage variation is .03-.11Volts. However the issues I am a little concerned with is that the battery capacity is only at 65% when fully charged and block #11 has a consistent lower voltage than the rest of the pack. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and the service I received! I would buy from this company again!

When I needed help and reached out with installation(I didn’t fully seat the orange plug) they made sure I was in good hands and solved my issue.
